At the Africa Disability Institute, we believe that empowering persons with disabilities through targeted capacity-building initiatives is key to fostering a more inclusive, just, and equitable society. Our programs are designed to tackle the systemic barriers that persons with disabilities face, while providing the capacity needed to enhance their health, mobility, and participation in all aspects of life.

Economic Empowerment

Persons with disabilities are often excluded from the workforce and economic opportunities, but we believe in a future where all individuals, regardless of ability, can contribute to and benefit from a thriving economy. Through advocacy for inclusive economic policies, Technical Vocational Training programs, and entrepreneurship support, we empower persons with disabilities to become active contributors to their communities. By encouraging businesses to adopt inclusive practices, we work to reduce economic marginalisation and foster a society where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
